Contestants must be sixteen (16) years or older where allowable by law. Contestants under the age of eighteen (18) must have parental permission before entry.

The contest is open to amateur performers and artists only. Actor entrants may not be professional actors or performers (including, but not limited to, members of the Actors' Equity Association, Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artist), and may not be assisted by such professionals.
